Stradbrook was looking unusually glam on Friday the 22nd of March, as Blackrock College RFC once again played host to our annual Ladies Lunch. With over 170 guests, it was a superb day of fashion, food, friends, and plenty of fun!
Guests were greeted to a prosecco reception before they entered the gorgeously decorated main hall. They were also treated to talented musicians- singer Shóna Henneberry, and trumpeter, Niall O'Sullivan.
A quick welcome from President Pappy Burke and a prize giveaway of D.E.C.K by Decollage goodies to 17 lucky guests started the event off with a bang! A delicious 3-course meal, catered by Vinny Hanlon Catering, was also enjoyed.
Next up was a fashion show with elegant clothing provided by D.E.C.K by Decollage, with several members walking in the show itself. Thank you to all the beautiful ladies- Yvonne Nicholson, Grainne McGagh, Sarah Hally, Kate McGagh, Polly Ward, Emma Fennessy, and Judith Hally for modeling the clothes. Those full 7 outfits- from tops, coats, necklaces, scarves- were later included in the raffle as another set of giveaways, along with the grand prize, a makeover for 2 and lunch at the Ivy provided by South by Kazumi Salon.
The final highlight from the day was choosing the Best Dressed Ladies. With such gorgeous style from over 170 beautiful women, this was not an easy decision, but we must say that Winner Ann Ringrose and Runner Up Maggie O'Brien both looked stunning and deserved their prizes!
