The Senior Women had a convincing win over Cooke RFC with some spectacular tries on Saturday at Stradbrook to win 32 - 5.
Ann Marie Rooney was player of the match. She's been versatile all season in playing numerous positions and was the steady hand that gave the team the platform to create the tries from both the forwards and the backs.
We also welcomed eight of our current internationals (Hannah O'Connor, Christy Haney, Sarah Delaney, Eimear Corri, Meabh Deely, Aoibheann Reilly, Enya Breen and Aoife Wafer) to the club's pre-match lunch during their down week from the 6 Nations. We wish them the very best of luck this weekend versus Wales taking place in Virgin Media Park in Cork.
Congratulations also to Aoife Wafer on being named Player of Round 2 of the 6 Nations.
And to Christy Haney on her recent article in The Independent. You can watch Inside Camp with Christy here.
Catch the Senior Women play their final match of the regular season on Saturday, 13th April at Stradbrook against Railway Union at 1pm.
