On Friday, 17th May, players, coaches, and supporters came together at Stradbrook to celebrate another exciting season for Blackrock College RFC.
The winners for the awards were selected by players, supporters and coaches.

There were a couple of extra special awards given that night as well.
The Union Shield is awarded to a volunteer in the club who has gone above and beyond in their dedication to the club. This year's recipient is Mark Fallon. was also nominated for this year's Energia Community Hero Award. Mark has gone above and beyond in his duties time and again this season, even pitching in behind the bar when needed.
The Sue Garden Bachop Trailblazer Trophy was a new award last year. It is given to a member who exemplifies the same trailblazer qualities as Sue Garden Bachop, a player in the first Women's Blackrock College RFC match and a catalyst in setting up the Irish Women’s Rugby Football Union. This year's award was presented to Hannah O'Connor, who plays for BCRFC, Leinster and Ireland, and also helps manage BCRFC social media platforms. Hannah is an integral part of the success of the Women's section and a valued member of the club.
